Around 1998 Dave started listening to Dance music through Radio 1 listening to DJ’s such as Pete Tong, Tall Paul and Paul Oakenfold. These mixes inspired him to get into the music more and learn how to mix like these DJ’s. So at the end of 2000, he managed to scrape enough money together to buy myself some decks. Dave started off with some pretty basic kit, which helped him master his trade.

His main aim is to get his music and mixing out to everybody he possibly can, to try and take them emotionally to a place where they have never been before.

He has been playing out live since October 2002 at various gigs all over the UK including Liverpool, London and Sheffield to name but a few.

Dave is also a producer and has a remix release on Vinyl which came out on Monoceros Records.

Dave is in the process of strating his own Trance label, with all the details being released in the not too distant future at djdavedempsey.com!!!
